Meta tags are the most important for bloggers as they help the search engines to index your blog easily. As web is developing rapidly and bloggers want their blog on top of the SERP so in order to get on top, You should have top keywords used in your blog and should have meta tags placed in your blog so Google should increase your blog ranking. Meta tags are placed in your template and they are not shown on your blog but hidden and only Search Engine can index them. Meta tags are placed in your blog’s template and helps Google to identify your blog. In order to create meta tag, follow the below instructions and you can easily add meta tags to your blogger template
- Go to Blogger
- Go to your dashboard and go to template section
- Click Edit Html
- Find the tag by pressing the ctrl+f button
- Paste the below code just below tag
Save your template and you are done!
Change YOUR BLOG DESCRIPTION with your blog description which should appear in search results
Change YOUR BLOG KEYWORDS with your blogs keywords, separate keywords by commas
Change AUTHOR NAME with your blog’s author name
